Dogfish Noble Rot is saison-type beer brewed with pils and wheat malts and fermented with a distinct Belgian yeast strain. It has a spicy white wine body and a dry, tart finish.

This saison-esque science project gets complexity and fermentable sugars from two unique wine grapes sourced from Alexandria Nicole Cellars in Prosser, Wash.

ABV: 9%

Dogfish Head’s Theobroma (translated into “food of the gods”) is brewed with Aztec cocoa powder and cocoa nibs, honey, chilies and annatto (fragrant tree seeds).

It’s light in color, not what you expect from your typical chocolate beer.
